George Lambelle is a retired BBC producer/director,
with a string of awards to his credit.
Novel writing was merely a pastime, he never took seriously
until colleagues suggested this approach to publishing.
The first came about when he decided to write a fantasy
for his – then – unborn grandchildren. The fantasy about
crazy witches, warlocks and time travel, “Call Me Stranger”,
was the result
Then came “From the Limbo of the Wings” – a more ambitious
effort which grew from George's interest in Egyptology. It
makes use of the human emotions of two American women, one
Israeli and the other Arabic. It results in the successful
theft of the mask and gold coffin (and other artefacts) from
the Egyptian Museum in Cairo . The subsequent chase across
Europe produces and enthralling and unexpected climax.
